Holidaystress.
Tomorrow me, daughterlove and boyfriend are going on a six day holiday to Belgium. Yesterday I packed all Lyka's stuff and piled it all on her desk. Today I got up at ten, watched another ep of Stargate SG1, paused it, wrote some more to do things on the to do list, resumed watching, paused it again, and after it was finally over after one hour and fifty minutes woke up dear boyfriend for the rest of the packing.
We managed to pack all the stuff we think we will need (mind the 'think' in the previous sentence, I will tell you next week how it worked out) in a little over two hours and piled that in the middle of the living room. Then we had to go and take it all downstairs, and add the rest of the stuff that was somewhere in the storage box. And then, of course, it had to be put in the car.
(note: I used to have this great big van, all painted and graffity'd and all, by the name of Mick. But, for some still unclear to me financial reason I had to sell her, and now I have Taya, a VW Polo allmost seventeen years of age and very very small compared to Mick)
Now I know that I'm good at arranging things. Well, in the sense when ment as to put them in the right order to save space or make it look good. (the latter mostly used when decorating and organising show windows) So after twenty minutes my boyfriend had all things caried downstairs and I still had a table, three chairs, a gas bottle and two sleepingbags to put in a car where we still had to fit in after I was done filling it.
We leave tomorrow at six thirty. I think we will put it all in the trailer...
